Welcome to St Michael's Church, Otterton
Things are still a bit different due to the Covid-19 situation, but the Raleigh Mission Community is still here! To make things simple, we have put lots of information on the new Support during Lockdown page, so please go straight there to find everything, including the current Pewsheet.
The Government is now allowing churches to hold services. For up to date information on what this means in the Raleigh Mission Community please check our Services page for updates on service times and opening hours for all our churches.
With an emphasis on church and community, the congregation at Otterton work readily to build and nurture good relations and further the Christian message. The calendar of church events encourages much village support and the link with the school is strong. The commitment to lay ministry and leadership is established. The regular worshipping community, though small in number, have big hearts and support and encourage one another to develop and draw out different, unifying gifts and skills.
In 2017 we were successful in our bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund and received a grant which helped safeguard the future of our beautiful church. You can read more, and find out about the history of the church here.
