Our Three Churches
The Raleigh Mission Community is the Church of England community serving the people of Budleigh Salterton,
East Budleigh and Otterton, and the surrounding hamlets in our corner of East Devon.

Announcement
It is announced today that the Revd Sarah Mounoury has been appointed as Vicar of the Benefice of Budleigh Salterton, East Budleigh with Bicton and Otterton, known as the Raleigh Mission Community. Sarah is currently Licensed to St Thomas, Exeter and previously the Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Sidmouth Woolbrook, Salcombe Regis, Sidbury with Sidford, and All Saints Sidmouth. Subject to the completion of all legal formalities, Sarah will be instituted as Vicar in September, at which you are all welcome. Your prayers are asked for Sarah and her husband and family, as they prepare to move to their new home, and for Sarah as she prepares for a new stage in her life and work as a priest. My thanks to all those involved in the appointment process and those who continue to care for the parishes during the vacancy.

Please fill her afresh with your Holy Spirit that she may lead with courage, guide with wisdom, tend with compassion and discern what is right. Grant us open hearts to welcome new ideas, willing hands to serve alongside, and steadfast spirits to walk together in your mission in faith, hope and love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
