Commemorating Sir Walter Raleigh - Representatives from HMS Raleigh attend church service and a Potato and Pirate Party in East Budleigh is a great success
A special church service at All Saints Church was attended by representatives from HMS Raleigh in memory of Sir Walter Raleigh who was executed 400 years ago.
Then about 60 people of all ages enjoyed Potato and Pirate Party on Sunday 28th October, raising funds for All Saints Church.

Otterton Primary School graded Outstanding in its Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools
Archdeacon Christopher Futcher joined pupils from the school at a collective worship service to celebrate achieving this grading for the third consecutive time. The service was organised and led by year six pupils. He presented the certificate to Lara Campbell and Rory Harmson, the school's youngest and oldest pupils, praising the work of teachers, leadership, parents and pupils for all making the school such a success.
On Monday 1st October the Rev'd Karen Young was licensed by Bishop Robert and welcomed by the RMC in a special Licensing Service at All Saints East Budleigh. The service was followed by a get together in the church hall where people could meet Rev'd Karen. Find out more about Rev'd Karen here.
