The May edition of East Budleigh Parish News is now available here. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions we haven't been allowed to deliver hard copies by hand, so it is only available electronically. It is slightly different this month, and has plenty of information and a couple of people have written about their experiences of ‘life in lockdown’.

Stephen has posted more videos on YouTube for you. They are Hymn Preludes which are based on much loved hymns sung at this time of the year:
Hymn Prelude on “Rockingham” - Rosalie Bonighton (When I survey the wondrous cross) https://youtu.be/krETYyZppW4 Hymn Prelude on “Passion Chorale” - Andrew Fletcher (O scared head sore wounded) https://youtu.be/ZFhAmZZm_CM Hymn Prelude on “Easter Hymn” - Rosalie Bonighton (Jesus Christ is risen today) https://youtu.be/3qboY99VasM Hymn Prelude on “Savannah” - Stanley Vann (Love’s redeeming work is done) https://youtu.be/XLHLx9U07ng In these most extraordinary times when church buildings are closed, choirs and organists alongside musicians and artists everywhere are unable to perform live for the foreseeable future. Music however remains as powerful a source of inspiration as it always has and musicians have been exploring all sorts of ways and means to express themselves through the wonders of the internet. I hope to offer the Mission Community regular performances of organ music and the first is a selection of three pieces for Palm Sunday and Holy Week by J.S.Bach and Jean Langlais which can be found by following this link: https://youtu.be/EEcFuGyvbRc
You can find the Otterton Parish News here East Budleigh Parish News here and St Peter's Minimag here In this fast moving situation some of the information in these magazines will be out of date, but they are still worth reading! If in doubt, the information on this website supercedes that in the Parish News documents.
