Friends of All Saints
The Friends of All Saints East Budleigh was set up about 15 years ago with the aim of engaging with the local community (whether regular church attenders or not) to raise funds to help protect and preserve the fabric of the Church and maintain the Churchyard in good condition. The Friends organise events including talks, concerts and the popular East Budleigh Scarecrow Festival.
EAST BUDLEIGH SCARECROW FESTIVAL WEEKEND 8th and 9th JUNE 2024
The date for 2024 has been confirmed.
As usual we would be delighted if our friends in East Budleigh will show their usual artistic and creative talents in preparing their scarecrows for display.
There is a charity jumble sale in East Budleigh Village Hall on Saturday 24th February - a great place to source an outfit or idea for your scarecrow!
We will be finalising the stalls and activities between now and then and as always would welcome any help if you’d like to join our merry but small band of volunteers please get in touch friendsofallsaintschurch.as@rmcommunity.co.uk.
At our first meeting of the year in January, we started discussing events for this year and, fingers crossed, we hope to bring you the cream tea concert in August and a Christmas concert in the church in December. More details to follow in the coming months.
If you would like to join the Friends, and/or join our 200 Club with the chance of winning a monthly cash prize, please download this letter and application form
